    Hughenden Manor

    Set in the unspoiled Chiltern valley with views of ancient woodlands and rolling hills, Hughenden Manor was the home of the Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli and his wife Mary Anne. Inside the manor, you can discover the top-secret Second World War operation codenamed “Hillside”.

    Roald Dahl Museum

    Greys Court

    Grey’s Court is a National Trust owned country Tudor house; it has an ever-so homely feel, with the previous owners’ original belongings still filling every room. The gardens are beautiful and a must-see.

    Countryways At Road Farm

    Countryways CIC was formed in May 2014 to enable the benefits of being on a real, working farm to be shared more effectively with others. It is separate to the working farm business run by the Knight family since 1957, now in the capable hands of David Knight.

    The Chilterns Society Walks

    Tasked with protecting, conserving and promoting the Chilterns, the Chiltern Society helps with maintaining the Chilterns, whether that be keeping 2,200 miles of footpaths and bridleways clear, or promting the heritage of the Chilterns through their annual Heritage Festival.

    Bekonscot Model Village & Railway

    Discover a miniature world of charming buildings. Located in Beaconsfield, it’s the world's oldest original model village. It opened for the first time in 1929. You can expect gardens, a children's play area and a ride-on railway.

    Henley Regatta

    The famous and prestigious Henley Regatta is truly an experience; in 2025, it is taking place in July for 6 days of action-packed racing. The general public can choose an enclosure to watch from, one requires a ticket and the other requires none!

    The Wycombe Swan

    Located in the nearby town of High Wycombe, the Swan is a medium-sized theatre that hosts a wide range of performances, from world-famous comedians, to a yearly pantomime.

    The Rex

    Situated in Berkhampsted, this is an art-deco cinema, with it first opening to the public in 1938. Boasting the sharpest film projection and clearest non-booming sound anywhere in the world, The Rex shows a large variety of movies.

    Aylesbury Waterside Theatre

    Opened in 2010, the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre is a state-of-the-art theatre which welcomes West End and touring musicals. From stand-up comedy to river dance shows, Christmas pantos and Legally Blonde will be making it’s way here in 2026!

    Afternoon Tea At Missenden Abbey

    Enjoy an elegant afternoon tea in the breathtaking 12th-century Abbey. Spend a lovely afternoon enjoying a mouth-watering treat filled with fresh sandwiches, petit fours, freshly baked scones, tea & coffee. This magnificent Abbey is closing on Sunday, the 5th November, make sure you go before it’s sold!

    If you’re on the lookout for a cream tea in a cosy, traditional, family-run tea room, Lady Grey’s in Wendover is a delightful local business to visit. If you find yourself planning a walk around Wendover woods or other Chilterns walks, such as Coombe Hill, this is a convenient place to start or finish your journey.
